I didn't think I would like "The Complete Vader" and never intended to buy it until I browsed it in the bookstore. It is not what I expected. There are replica posters, stickers, and script pages throughout. It reminds me of the "Star Wars Vault," though less extensive. The story of Vader includes his initial incarnations, the evolultion of his character, and the casting and development of the young Anakin. It even includes the backstory behind the ostracization of David Prowse. Until now, I've only read innuendos.Included are details about merchandising and toys, but that did not interest me nearly as much as the photos, inserts, and Vader's story itself. This is a book that is sure to please the adult Star Wars fan. I am happy to add it to my collection.
